In the footsteps of a common past
Covering around 35 kilometres, the Minett Tour links nine places featuring different topics of interest. They guide visitors of all ages through the history of the Luxembourg steel industry up to the present day and indeed into the future:
The Minett Park Fond-de-Gras, the Blast Furnaces Belval, the Museum of the Cockerill Mine in Esch/Alzette, the National Mining Museum in Rumelange, the Brasserie National in Bascharage, the FerroForum in Schifflange, the Science Center in Differdange, the Musée Ferrum/MUAR in Kayl and the Documentation Centre for Human Migrations in Dudelange.
The sites are all quite unique and exude a charm all of their own. Throughout the year, folk festivals, music and art festivals, concerts and exhibitions, dance and theatre productions magically transform the locations, most of which are heritage sites.
